Beef Ring

This recipe is a little more complicated but well worth the trouble.


Ingredients:


Instruction:

  1. Chop onion finely.

  2. Beat eggs well.

  3. Melt the butter, add the flour and cook for 1 minute.

  4. Add the stock and cook for 3 minutes whilst stirring to prevent lumps.

  5. Add all the other ingredients and place the mixture in a greased ring mould.

  6. Cover with greased greaseproof paper and stand in a saucepan of boiling water so that the water comes halfway up the sides of the mould.

  7. Boil gently with the lid on for 1 hour.

  8. Turn onto a hot dish and garnish with the vegetables.

  9. Pour over a little bit of brown sauce or gravy.

  10. Serve hot.
