Ingredients:

8 Chicken pieces. (Preferably drumsticks).

11/2 Cups of orange juice.

1 Dessert spoon brown sugar. (If the orange juice is sweet enough this may be omitted).

1 Teaspoon curry powder.

1 Teaspoon turmeric.

½ Teaspoon ginger.
-
½ Teaspoon cinnamon (If available).

Salt and pepper to taste.
Instruction:

Season the chicken with the salt and pepper.

Fry them in oil until golden brown.

Place them in an 8 cup casserole dish. (Your crockpot is ideal).

Cook the orange juice, sugar and spices for 3-5 minutes.

Pour the juice over the chicken.

Bake for about an hour until cooked at 350o F.
Serve the chicken with cooked rice and steamed vegetables.
